Squirrel

Squirrel was chosen as the language for MirthKit because it offers a good combination of familiar syntax, strong embedding support, and a compact but very useful standard library. Squirrel is a lot like Lua but with C++'s syntax. Most developers already accustomed to another language will find Squirrel to have few surprises.
